Arriving here, only two blocks away from the ocean, instantly brought me back to time spent in Morocco and Maui. I associate all these experiences by their similar climates, being able to walk short distances to the ocean, and the fact that life, in this climate, dictates open windows. I enjoy hearing life going on around me in a different language. I enjoy looking out our second story window and seeing the ocean on the horizon. I enjoy peeking out the window occasionally to see (although we hear it all the time) the activities at the car wash adjacent the clinic. I enjoy the cool breezes that blow thru. The green growth and tropic plants are lively. This clinic, which we shall call home for two weeks, is a different way of life, but one I am finding relaxing.
